Large Yellow and White glazed Tripod vessel
Large Tripod pot hand built using the coiling and slabbing technique in its construction. This piece, like all of my Tripod pieces, has been built up slowly over a period of time, usually taking up to 2-3 weeks, waiting for the clay to dry before proceeding, a long process. The outside has been glazed in a white glaze, the inside in a warm yellow colour, to contrast the two surfaces, inviting the holder to look inside the vessel. To lend emphasis to the shape of the outside as well as the inside.
Height 18cm (7.25 inches)
Width 14cm (4.25 inches)
Weight 1015 grams
