Vase in white slip and yellow glaze.

£225.00

Vase which is asymmetrical in shape, glazed on the inside only in a warm, yellow glaze. The exterior is a Terra-Sigillata slip which was traditionally used by the Romans as red attic ware. The slip is hand burnished to a soft sheen, and to safeguard its aesthetics, a delicate wax coating has been applied to fend off fingerprints on the exterior. The two different colours used contrast between the two surfaces and to emphasis the shape. Please note, this piece is best suited for dry ornamental use. Made in 2021

Not suitable for liquids.
